PROJECT OVERVIEW

The state-of-the-art, class A, modern distribution facility includes tilt-up concrete construction, 32’ clear height warehouse space, 83 loading doors, and 18,000 square feet of office and training space. At over 1M sf, the project was the largest Built-To-Suite Project in the State of New Jersey at the time. What makes a Subaru a Subaru – the parts! On any given day, each worker at the new warehouse pulls, packs and ships up to 600 individual parts, destined for Subaru dealerships from South Jersey to Virginia. Keeping up with that demand requires a tightly controlled and streamlined operation.The new facility ensures genuine Subaru parts are available to the dealerships when they are needed.

The $35 million tilt-up construction included 1,028,000sf completed in two phases –a 526,050-square-foot warehouse, distribution, office and training center an additional 504,000 square feet for a fully-racked warehouse for storage.

Sustainability Subaru loves the Earth – The Building was designed to achieve Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Certification and includes a solar panel array on the roof of the building provided by NFI Solar. Subaru of America, Inc. markets and distributes Subaru vehicles, parts and accessories through a network of more than 600 dealers across the United States. All Subaruproducts are manufactured in zero-landfill production plants. NFI is a fully integrated supply chain solutions provider offering logistics, distribution, warehousing, intermodal, real estate, and solar services across the U.S. and Canada. Headquartered in Vineland and Cherry Hill, New Jersey, NFI Real Estate owns and manages more than 23 million square feet of transportation facilities, contract and public distribution space, and office buildings. NFI is a partner of the Environmental Protection Agency’s SmartWay program, which dedicates efforts to increasing energy efficiency and reducing the impact of the freight industry upon the environment.

ARCO Design/Build has been the NJ builder of choice for NFI at this location completing major projects for a new corporate office headquarters for Burlington Coat Factory, a distribution/fulfillment center for Express Scripts, and a new distribution/fulfillment center for Destination Maternity.
